Sorry this is such a plain jane page, but here it is! This is how most FTP (file transfer protocol) works. I have done screen shots of both WS_FTP and Cute FTP. You may have to tweak things a little bit, but the principals are the same.

Ok here we go!

First of all you need to put your information into the FTP program. You want to tell it where you will be pulling files from, or transferring files to. The left side will nearly always be your files on your disk or hard drive, while the right side will be an internet site. In this tutorial we will deal with file managers for personal websites.
